Miami dedicated server facing Latin America and the Caribbean
A Miami dedicated server is a whole machine of your own in Digital Realty's building in downtown Miami, the closest of our five rooms to Mexico, the Caribbean and South America. Choose from 8 server lines, pay monthly in US dollars, and time the trip from your own browser before you decide.
No contract. A machine already in the rack is yours about 30 minutes after the order is approved, and a build to order takes 4 to 24 hours when we hold the parts.

A Florida dedicated server for users south of it
Many of the undersea cables between the United States and Latin America land in South Florida, which is why people with users to the south pick Miami. These are the jobs it is usually asked to do.
-
01
Streaming to Latin America
Video and radio for viewers in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil or Argentina travel a shorter road from Miami than from any of our other rooms. Nothing meters the port, so a big night costs what a quiet one does.
-
02
Games and voice in Spanish and Portuguese
Players and callers notice every extra hop. A low-latency server for Latin America starts with the shortest distance, and the board above shows what that distance is from where you sit.
-
03
Businesses in Florida
Shops, clinics, agencies and apps whose customers are in Florida and the Southeast get a server in their own state, with an address they can give a client or an auditor.
-
04
A US supplier for regional teams
Companies across the region often want their server contract with a US company and their bill in dollars. A Miami server gives them both, from Primcast LLC in New York.

Two promises about the network
Your port is not shared with any other customer at the access switch, and nothing meters the traffic that crosses it. If your users are in a particular country, ask one of them to run the ping above and compare it with New York's address, 162.244.81.236.
03The lines
The server lines we build in Miami
Miami builds 8 lines, cartridges and rack servers up to four sockets, and 3 of them can take a graphics card. Each row's price is that line's entry build, with its exact parts underneath, per month in dollars; the configurator prices every change from there.

A configured order is built for you and pays the setup fee on its row, once. The fastest port on offer here is 100 Gbps, and 10 Gbps is $529 a month on the lines that have it. Need a line Miami does not build? The city comparison shows which room has it.

Nothing is racked in Miami at this moment. Every line in the table above can still be built here, and the racked servers page shows what is ready in the other cities.
An hour is the monthly price divided by 730, plus 30%. Every ready machine, in every city, is on the racked servers page.
05Terms
What a Miami server comes with
Your invoice comes from Primcast LLC, in US dollars, one month at a time. Florida adds nothing to it; the only US sales tax we charge is New York State's, on software licenses, for billing addresses in that state.
Included
- The whole machine, with root or Administrator access and no other customer on it
- An unmetered port that is not shared at the access switch
- One IPv4 address and IPv6
- No contract; 3, 6 or 12 months paid at once is 5%, 10% or 15% cheaper, software licenses excepted
- Card, PayPal, ACH, bank transfer or cryptocurrency
- Support on chat: our AI answers in seconds and can check your server for you, and a person takes over whenever you ask
Not promised
- No DDoS protection, as a feature or as an extra
- No uptime percentage. The service agreement credits a day of the monthly charge for each cumulative hour the network is down, once an outage passes 15 consecutive minutes, up to a month
- A failed part is replaced in the time your support tier states: 24 hours on the included tier, down to 2 hours on the fastest paid one (compare the tiers)
- No brand-new hardware. These are enterprise machines, many a generation or more old, and priced that way
06Questions
Questions about a Miami dedicated server
01Should I host in Miami or New York for Latin American users?
Miami, in most cases. It is the closer of the two to Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America. New York wins when a good part of your audience is also in Europe or the US Northeast. The board at the top of this page times both from your connection, so the answer is a number, not a guess.
02How soon is a Miami server ready?
About 30 minutes after the order is approved, for a machine already in the rack. A build to order takes 4 to 24 hours when we hold the parts, 5 to 10 working days when a part has to be bought in, and 10 to 15 for a scarce one. The payment check comes first and is the part that varies.
03Where exactly are the Miami servers?
In Digital Realty's building at 36 NE 2nd Street, in downtown Miami. It has 2 MW of power capacity with 2N UPS and diesel generators, precision cooling with N+2 redundancy, and entry for credentialed staff checked against photo ID. The operator lists SOC 2, SOC 3 and PCI DSS for the facility.
04Is the bandwidth in Miami unmetered?
Yes. Nothing counts the traffic on your port, and the port is not shared with any other customer at the access switch. Each line includes 1 Gbps or 500 Mbps, and the order form goes up to 100 Gbps.
05Can I pay from outside the United States?
Yes. Card, PayPal, bank transfer and cryptocurrency all work from abroad, and ACH works from a US bank account. The invoice is in US dollars from Primcast LLC, and paying 3, 6 or 12 months at once makes it 5%, 10% or 15% cheaper, software licenses excepted.
06Can I rent a Miami server by the hour?
Yes, any machine already racked, taken as it stands; its hourly rate is under its monthly price on the shelf above. A configured build is billed by the month.
07What if the network goes down or a part fails?
Once the network has been down for more than 15 consecutive minutes, the service agreement credits you a day of the monthly charge for every cumulative hour that month, up to one month. A failed part is replaced within the time your support tier states, 24 hours on the included one.
08Who answers when I need help?
