What owners ask us before listing
These are the real questions people with a GB10 machine have put to us, and the answers we should have had ready.
Does your marketplace actually support arm64 hosts?
Yes, natively. The agent is published as a linux arm64 binary alongside the x86 one, and the installer picks it automatically when it sees aarch64. Ubuntu or DGX OS on a GB10 machine is a normal host to us, not a special case.
I own two, linked together. Is that one listing or two?
Two at first, and one once you link them, which you do yourself. List each machine as usual and cable the two to each other over their ConnectX-7 ports, then run sudo gpu-agent check --boot --pair on both within ten minutes of each other. Your dashboard then shows, under My Machines, that the two can be rented together, with a button to link them. Linking checks the cable, which takes up to a minute, and you then set one monthly rent for the pair. A pair is exactly two machines, both NVIDIA's own DGX Spark, on the same account and the same relay location. A GB10 machine from another maker lists on its own and cannot be paired, and four machines are two pairs, never one listing. A pair is rented by the month only and paid by invoice. Renters get two 128 GB machines on a fast direct link, for work that runs across both, and not one machine with 256 GB of memory. While the two are linked neither is rented on its own, and you can unlink them whenever the pair is not rented.
Can I keep using it myself?
Yes. You publish the availability you actually want to sell, and you can pause the listing whenever you want the machine back. Owners running their own inference on the box the rest of the time is the normal case here, not the awkward one.
What do I have to hand over to get verified?
Management access for the verification run, and after that the agent and its one time code are the link. There is no permanent credential of yours sitting in our systems, and you can revoke the machine from your dashboard.
What happens if it fails verification?
You get the list of what failed, whether that is a driver, a thermal limit, storage throughput or the network path, and you resubmit once it is fixed. There is no limit on retries and no penalty for a failed run.
What does my internet connection need?
The agent makes one outbound SSH connection to our relay (TCP port 2222), and renters reach your machine through that tunnel. Nothing is opened on your router, so you do not need a public IP, and a connection behind CGNAT works. We do not set a minimum upload speed. The agent measures download, upload and latency to the speed test server in your location and shows them on your listing, and verification checks the network path. Renters see those figures, so a faster line makes the listing more attractive.
What can a renter reach on my machine?
A GB10 cannot pass its GPU through to a virtual machine yet, so it is rented as a hardened container. The renter logs in as an ordinary user without sudo, root inside the container is an unprivileged user on your machine, and almost every privilege is removed. The renter cannot see your files. Their home directory is a separate encrypted volume whose key exists only in memory and is destroyed when the rental ends. Before a rental starts, the agent loads a firewall table and checks it. That table blocks the renter from your home network, from every network configured on your machine, from private address ranges and from the machine itself, and nothing on your network can connect in to the renter. If the cleanup or the GPU check at the end of a rental cannot be verified, the machine is taken off the market rather than rented again.
When does it start earning?
Once it is published and somebody rents it. We are not going to put a date on your first tenant, because that depends on your price, your availability and what renters are looking for that week. What we can tell you is what our own equivalent machine lists at, which is above.
How and when am I paid?
Monthly, to your bank account, within the first ten days of the following month, with no minimum. You earn the rent you set divided by 720 for every hour the machine is rented and online, and Primcast deducts nothing from it. When it is rented by the hour, day or week you earn the rent you gave that length. A bank account in another currency is paid in that currency, converted when the payout is sent. Your details, your bank account and your tax information go in the Payouts card under Earnings in your dashboard. Identity verification comes before your machine goes on sale, and setting up your payouts does it. Your bank account has to be in a country our payment partner can send payouts to.
