Every host will tell you what its servers have in them. Almost none will tell you what the month is like — when things cost money, when they do not, and what turns up on the invoice at the end. Here is ours, in order, with the decisions where they really happen.

Nothing in that list is built to order — every one of them is already racked, powered and cabled. We install the operating system you asked for, hand it over, and the login details arrive by email.
The clock starts when the payment is approved rather than when you press pay, and for most orders those are the same moment. A few get held for an identity check first, and that is the only thing that puts a real delay between paying and logging in. It is uncommon, and it is aimed at people who were never going to be customers.

Almost everybody installs the wrong thing first. Reinstall it from the control panel as often as you like, pick a different operating system, start clean, do it again. There is nothing to ask for and nothing to pay.

Everybody does this once. A firewall rule, a bad network change, a service that will not come back. Every machine we sell has out-of-band console access, so you get the screen and the power button without us being involved.
That is the difference between an evening and a week, and it is why we do not sell a machine without it.

It turns out you underestimated. Memory is priced per machine rather than at one flat rate, because a small cartridge and a full chassis are not the same problem. The machine already comes with the first size below; moving up costs the difference, and it goes on the same invoice.

A disk, a power supply, something. Every machine comes with the first row below at no charge, and for a great many jobs that is genuinely fine. If it is not fine for yours, buy a faster one — it is a line on the invoice, not a sales conversation, and you can change or drop it any month.

Something you did got picked up somewhere, and you moved four times what you planned for. On a lot of the industry that is the month you find out what your bandwidth costs.
Here, nothing happens. The port is unmetered, there is no allowance to go over, and the invoice at the end of the month is the one you were already expecting. This is the entire argument for buying from us, and it costs you nothing to test.
