On our Intel Xeon E5-2600 v1/v2 servers the 1 Gbps port is included, and it can move about 324 TB in 30 days. Even our smallest included port, 500 Mbps, moves about 162 TB, and nobody counts what goes through it.

What 100 TB of monthly bandwidth really takes
Spread evenly over 30 days, 100 TB works out to an average of about 309 Mbps, around the clock. That is why a 100TB bandwidth server elsewhere usually comes with a 1 Gbps port and a counter on it. We leave the port and drop the counter.

Most audiences are not even. If your evening peak runs at three times your average, 100 TB a month means close to a gigabit at the busiest hour, so pick a server with 1 Gbps included.

Our figures come from the order catalogue. Every server ships with an unmetered port, so traffic itself is never billed; a 1 Gbps port is included on most lines and sold as an upgrade on the rest, and the chart shows the upgrade price.

Some people searching for 100 TB mean disk space, not traffic. You can have both in one machine. Our largest drive is the SAS-SSD 30.72 TB, so 4 of them give you 122.88 TB before RAID.
AHow it adds up
Drives, bays and the RAID you choose
- 9 of our lines have enough bays to reach 100 TB, with RAID controllers for 6, 12 or 24 disks on the larger machines.
- The biggest machines take 24 drives, up to about 737 TB raw.
- RAID that protects your data uses some of that space, so add a drive or two above 100 TB if you need 100 TB you can actually fill.

05Is it the right fit
When a 100TB server is right, and when it is not
We would rather send you to the cheaper or better answer than sell you the wrong machine.
A 100TB server suits you if
- You run downloads, mirrors, game patches or a media library that moves tens of terabytes a month.
- You stream radio or video from your own software and want the traffic cost fixed.
- You are tired of overage invoices after your best month.
Look somewhere else if
- Your viewers are spread over several continents. A video CDN serves them from the nearest city instead of one server.
- You already push more than a gigabit at peak. Start on a 10 Gbps server, or see the 100 Gbps server for the top of the ladder.
- Your site needs a few terabytes at most. A cloud VPS may cost you less.

What comes with your 100TB server, and what does not
Included
- The whole physical machine with root access. Nobody else runs anything on it.
- A port that is yours alone at the switch, with no burst rate and no fair-use clause.
- One IPv4 address, and IPv6 you can add at checkout for free.
- Your choice of 5 cities: New York, Bucharest, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Miami. Not every line is built in every city; the table above shows where each one goes.
- Your money back in full if we cannot deliver the server you ordered.
Not included
- DDoS protection. We do not sell it, so if your project draws attacks, put a scrubbing service or a CDN in front of the server.
- Traffic past the port's speed. Unmetered means we do not count it, not that it has no ceiling.
- Hosting for content you have no rights to. We are not a host that ignores copyright complaints.
- An uptime percentage. Our agreement pays credits instead.
If the network is down for more than 15 minutes in a row, you get a day of credit for every hour of outage, up to one month. The details are in our service level agreement (PDF).

01What is a 100TB dedicated server?
It is a dedicated server that can send at least 100 TB of data a month. With most hosts that is an allowance you pay extra to pass. With us every server sits on an unmetered port, and even the smallest included port, 500 Mbps, moves about 162 TB in 30 days.
02What happens if I use more than 100 TB in a month?
Nothing. We do not count your traffic, so there is no overage, no throttling and no warning email. You can use all the port carries, every day of the month.
03How much is 100 TB of bandwidth in real use?
About 44,000 hours of HD video at 5 Mbps, about 1.7 million hours of radio at 128 kbps, or 2,000 downloads of a 50 GB game. If you need more, you already have it: the port is the only limit.
04Which port should I choose for 100 TB a month?
For steady traffic, the included 500 Mbps port is enough. If your traffic comes in evening peaks, choose a line with 1 Gbps included, or add it to a smaller line for $79 a month.
05Do you also sell 100 Gbps servers?
Yes. A 100 Gbps port is a different job from 100 TB a month: it can move over 32 PB in 30 days. Our 100 Gbps server page explains which machine carries it and what it costs.
06Can I get a 100TB storage server?
Yes. On the lines with enough bays, 4 of our largest drives give you 122.88 TB raw, and the biggest machines take 24 drives. Build it in the configurator, or read our storage servers page first.
07Is there a 100TB VPS?
Not from us. Our cloud VPS plans are not sized for 100 TB of traffic a month. At that volume a dedicated server is the better buy, because its unmetered port is already in the price.
08Do you have a 100TB CDN plan?
Yes, for video. The Pro plan of our video CDN includes 100 TB a month, delivered from the city nearest each viewer. It costs $99 a month, and each extra terabyte is $4.50.
