A custom dedicated server from Primcast is a whole physical machine built from the parts you pick: processor, memory, drives, RAID, GPU, port speed and data center. Choose them below and the monthly price updates with every click, so you know the cost before we fit a single part.
Most builds are ready 4–24 hours after your order clears review. If a racked server already matches your spec, it is yours about 30 minutes after approval.

01 Configurator
Every choice sits on one screen because the parts depend on each other. The platform decides which processors fit, and the controller decides which arrays you can have. Nothing is reserved, and you can try it without an account.
02 Lead time
It depends on where the parts are when you order: already in a rack, on our shelves, or still with a distributor. Find your row before you commit, so the date never surprises you.
The server you specified is already powered and cabled in the data center you chose, so we hand it over as it stands. Taken without changes, it also skips the custom build fee.
This is the usual case, and it covers everything on the configurator above. A technician fits the parts, builds the array and installs your system. A racked server that only needs more memory or a different drive lands here too.
Something you asked for is not a part we stock: an unusual capacity, a GPU that is not on the list, or more addresses than the configurator offers. We order it first, then build.
Current-generation accelerators and the largest drives are sold on allocation. We tell you which part sets the date before you pay, not after.
Every row starts once your payment is approved and the order passes our fraud check. Half of all orders are approved within about two hours, and a new account's first order may wait a few days. When we buy hardware for one customer, we ask for three months up front.

04 Before you build
A server that is already racked goes live about 30 minutes after approval, and taken as it stands it skips the one-time custom build fee. Build to order when the shelf cannot give you what you need, such as an unusual amount of memory, a specific array, four processors, a faster port, or a city with no matching server this week.

01Mail
You can send mail from day one. If one of your addresses is listed for actually sending spam, we close outbound port 25 on that single address for 30 days. A listing against a whole range, or a policy listing, never triggers it.
02Addresses
We check every address against the public blocklists before you get it and swap any that is listed. The checks keep running after handover, so a neighbour's reputation never becomes yours.
03Routing
Bring your own address space and we announce it over a BGP session. Send us the prefix and your AS number. You can inspect our routing first with the looking glass, which runs BGP lookups, pings and traceroutes from New York and Bucharest.
04Access
Rack servers and blades come with their own management controller: a browser console, power control, boot order and firmware settings, so you can switch on virtualisation or SR-IOV yourself. Most of the small Moonshot cartridges have power control only, so check the platform if you need a console.
06 Where it runs
Your build can go in any data center its platform lists: New York, Bucharest, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Miami. The configurator only offers the ones that platform runs in.

It is a physical server built from the parts you choose, instead of picked from a fixed plan. With us you pick the processor and how many sockets it fills, then memory, drives, the controller and its RAID level, a GPU, port speed, IP addresses, the operating system, a support tier, the data center and how far ahead you pay. The whole machine is yours alone, with nobody else's work on it.
Usually 4 to 24 hours, because everything on the configurator is stock we hold. If a racked server already matches, it is ready about 30 minutes after approval. A part we have to buy in adds 5 to 10 working days, and a scarce one 10 to 15. Each of these clocks starts once your payment is approved and the order passes our fraud check.
Yes. You pick the processor and how many sockets it fills, and the total runs from 4 to 128 cores per server. The core counts you can build today are 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 128. If you need a count that is not on the list, ask us in chat.
The configurator carries AMD EPYC, AMD Opteron, Ampere Altra (ARM), Intel Atom, Intel Xeon, X-Gene (ARM), on 18 platforms. If ARM is what you are after, our ARM server page describes those machines on their own. Yes, apart from tax. It uses the same catalogue and the same arithmetic as our checkout. On a build with several drives the billing system rounds the per-drive price its own way, so the total can land a cent or two apart. Tax for your country is added at checkout.
A ready server you order unchanged costs nothing to set up, except on our entry platform, which has its own one-time fee of $13. Every other configuration is a build for you and adds a one-time $29 setup fee, shown before you pay. There is no contract. You pay monthly and can cancel whenever a month ends, or pay 3/6/12 months ahead for up to 15% off the server.
Yes. Memory, drives and port speed can be added to the server you already have, and on some platforms a second processor too, with no migration and no new IP address. You pick the time, and once the parts are here the work is normally done within 4 to 24 hours. A different processor model usually needs a different board, which means moving to a new server.
Yes. There are 57 GPUs on offer across 4 platforms, and the configurator lets you add as many as the board takes. Pick the GPU first if it matters most, because it decides which chassis your server needs. Our GPU server page compares them.
Yes, port 25 is open and nothing is blocked in advance. We watch the addresses we hand out, and only if one of yours is listed for sending spam do we close outbound port 25 on that one address, for 30 days. If mail is the main job of the server, tell us when you order.
Yes. Send us your prefix and AS number and we set up a BGP session to announce it. Before you commit, our public looking glass lets you pick New York or Bucharest and run BGP lookups, pings and traceroutes yourself.
On rack servers and blades, yes. Their management controller gives you a browser console, power control and the boot order even when the operating system is down, plus the firmware settings. Most of the small Moonshot cartridges offer power control only, so ask us before you order one if a console matters to you.
