Getting your videos in.
Upload straight from the browser, as many files as your library holds. Large files are sent in parts, so a dropped connection or a closed tab picks up where it stopped instead of starting again.
Files up to 100 GB
A whole match, a full service or a semester of lectures fits in one file. The panel shows the speed and the time left while it goes.
Unfinished uploads wait for you
We hold an upload that went quiet for a week. Open the panel again and it carries on from the last part that arrived.
Every file checked on arrival
When a file is in, we check it against the sheet below before it goes live. A file that would not play everywhere is turned away instead of going live.
The file you upload is the file people watch.
We do not re-encode the library. Export once to this sheet and your viewers get your edit exactly as you approved it, on phones, browsers and smart TVs.

Adaptive bitrate is a live feature: on Platinum we encode up to five lower renditions of your live channel so slow connections keep playing. Library files play at the quality you exported.
A player and two links for every video.
Each file in the library comes with its own player, an embed code for your site and two addresses. You pick which one to hand out, file by file.
Plays from the nearest city
Each viewer is served from whichever of our 5 cities is closest to them. Use it for anything you share widely.
Plays from your library's own server
The file straight from the server it is stored on. Both links stay available, and neither replaces the other.
Paste it into any page
The HTML5 player plays up to 1080p with no ads of ours. On Pro and Platinum it carries no Primcast name either.
Your ads, not ours
On Platinum, your live channel and TV station can run ads from your own VAST ad server. No plan puts our ads in front of your viewers.
You decide who gets to watch.
A library can require signed links: every video then plays only from a link with a token that expires, so a copied address stops working on its own.
Links that expire
Turn them on for the whole library and Copy link becomes Get link. Bind each link to one viewer's address if you want a shared link to fail for everyone else.
Cancel every link at once
One button stops every link you have handed out so far. New links keep working, so a leak costs you minutes, not the library.
Countries, sites and addresses
On your live channel, allow or refuse countries, limit playback to your own sites, and block IP addresses or ranges.
Record every live broadcast automatically.
Switch on Record every broadcast in your channel settings and each time you go live it is recorded without you pressing anything. Recordings are kept for the number of days you choose, up to your plan's limit, then deleted.

Choose 1, 7, 30 or 90 days, as far as your plan goes.
Viewers can pause and go back
While you are live, viewers can rewind the broadcast and catch up.

What does a video content management platform do?
It keeps your videos in one place, gives each one a way to play on your site and controls who can watch it. Here that means a library in your panel with a player, an embed code and two playback links per file, signed links if you want them, and a live channel on the same account.
Can my live stream be recorded automatically?
Yes. Turn on Record every broadcast in your channel settings and each broadcast is recorded as it goes out. Recordings are kept up to 7 days on Starter, 30 days on Pro and 90 days on Platinum. The free plan does not record.
Do you transcode the videos I upload?
No. Library files play exactly as you exported them, so the quality you approved is the quality people see. Export to MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, up to 1080p, and every phone, browser and smart TV plays it.
Can I trim or edit videos in the browser?
The panel renames and deletes files, but it does not cut them. Trim in your own editor and upload the result; since nothing is re-encoded, the cut you made is the cut that plays.
Can I add closed captions?
Caption files cannot be attached to a library video in the panel today. Captions burned into the picture when you export always show, because the file plays as uploaded. If you need separate caption tracks, ask us on chat first.
How much video can I store?
50 GB on Starter, 200 GB on Pro and 2 TB on Platinum, with any one file up to 100 GB. Larger archives are an Enterprise conversation on chat.
Can I keep videos private?
Yes. Turn on signed links for the library and every video plays only from a link that expires. You can bind each link to one viewer's address and cancel every link you have handed out with one button.
Who helps me if something goes wrong?
